WOLO Hotel & Residences Mont Kiara KL

WOLO reimagines the essence of Kuala Lumpur through architecture inspired by the city’s origins, diversity, and fluid identity. Designed by Openbox Architects, the project transforms the layered soil of riverbeds into vertical forms that feel grounded yet light, modern yet timeless. Its façade reinterprets traditional Asian clay tiles into soft sculptural panels that enhance shading, privacy, and daylight movement, creating a living texture that shifts throughout the day. Inside, spaces flow like water, guiding residents through serene and flexible environments that can evolve over time. With sustainable materials and passive design responding to the tropical climate, WOLO becomes more than a high rise. It is a narrative of transformation where tradition meets innovation and where local character rises with global relevance, echoing the spirit of Kuala Lumpur.
